Here are a few pictures of my shortbox before the upgrade. I've taken off those huge mirrors and am looking for the smaller style however have three rusted pairs... Know where I could get my hands on some?
A few people have asked where I got the roll pan from. The previous owner told me that he had it made at a local metal shop and then had an autobody shop take care of its good looks. I need to get this remade and increase the metal thickness if possible as the paint has all kinds of 'star' marks.
This is the 318 that is going to be replaced with a '69 383 out of a Newport. It will be bored it out 30, and have some extra parts that you can check out on page 3. Any ideas, info, or personal experience out there? It would be much appreciated.
This is the interior... Plan is to hopefully be making a custom console complete with a sub stereo controls. Key word here is hopefully. I am a big believer in engine, and drivetrain first and looks second...
