The Eclipse AVN-6600 fit nicely in the Scosche dash kit. I did a little Dremmeling to the dash kit to give the screen a little more room to motorize down without rubbing on the dash kit. I also added some epoxy on the back sides of the dash kit to strengthen up a few joints and keep the dash kit from squeaking or anything like that.

I installed the Eclipse BEC-105 backup camera in a pretty stealthy spot. And yes, the license plate lights still functional on both sides. Doing this just basically requires some serious Dremmeling, and epoxy, etc. I used LED bulbs to keep the nearby camera from getting too warm.

I sound dampened the whole truck with RaamMat and Ensolite. The truck is now quiet and solid. No vibrations.

I upgraded my front stage with some Morel 9" Midbass woofers for crazy midbass. They fit pretty easily with proper placement. Pb2theMax's 2005 Toyota Tacoma Pb2theMax's 2005 Toyota Tacoma

I have Dayton Audio RS180 7" woofers in the rear doors, but I only use the rear speakers if I have passengers in the rear. The sound stage is better with just the front speakers playing.

I put Seas Lotus Reference tweets in custom fiberglassed A-pillars, which makes for an awesome sound stage. And it has an OEM look. I have no speakers at all in the stock tweet location.

I cut up the stock storage compartment and molded it onto a MDF sub box that I built. It's a tight squeeze but you can fit certain 12" subs behind the seat of a Tacoma double cab. Or you can get the new JL Audio W5 shallow mount subs, and the fit is real easy.

I had it sprayed in Line-X bedliner coating for durability and extra vibration dampening. I'm very happy with it. It sounds awesome for a truck box. Filling the enclosure with 1/2 pound of Acousta-stuf (poly fill) really helps smooth out the bass and helps the sub put out those low notes. Here's some pics of it before I put the rear seats back in. The seats fit back in perfectly. The sub doesn't rub on the back of the seat or anything. These pictures show the 12" Dayton Audio sub. This was before I installed the 13" JL sub.

*Update*
I just replaced the above pictured 12" sub with a new JL Audio 13TW5 13" subwoofer. This thing rocks! It's output and clarity is amazing. For small enclosures I highly recommend it.

I cut out the bottom of the little storage cubby by the shifter and filled it with the Kicker SXRC remote amp controller, which controls all the settings of the Kicker SX-900.4 and SX-1250.1 amps. No need to get behind the seats and mess with the settings on the amps. Just do it all from the drivers seat.

I recently added some headrest monitors to the system, and a one-off billet aluminum iPhone mount. When docked, all the music and videos that are stored on my iPhone can play through my sound/video system.
