Welcome to my CarDomain. This first page shows some of my more recent modifications. Please check out all 10 pages, and feel free to leave me a vote, comment, or question. Thanks
I designed this one-off billet aluminum iPhone mount. The mount was designed to work with my iPhones' zCover case so that the iPhone fits securely. When docked into the base it charges the phones battery, and also syncs to my Eclipse radio so that I can play all the music and movies that are stored on my phone.
I recently replaced my 12" sub with JL Audio's new 13" 13TW5 subwoofer. This sub is amazing!
I installed an Eclipse IPC-106 iPod/iPhone interface and also Eclipse MRE-700w headrest monitors w/ video switcher, and wireless headphones. I got a pair of headrests from a regular cab Tacoma, because the reg cab Tacomas have flatter and wider headrests than the Access Cab or Double Cab. The Eclipse RAS-100 video switcher can route multiple video sources at the same time. For example, I can play Sirius radio up front, then the back passenger side monitor could show a movie that's playing off of my iPhone, and then the rear drivers side monitor could show a DVD. The monitors can pivot up and down 10 degrees too.
This is a PLX Devices DM-200 OBD gauge that I installed in my HomeLink mirror.
I got my N-fab nerf bars and Westin bull bar sprayed in LineX. It looks great, and is more durable than the powdercoat that was previously on there.
I installed bi-xenon 4300k HID's in the headlights and fogs. This is one of the best mods I've done. These HID's light up the road twice as much as halogens. They even put out way more light than my expensive PIAA halogens did.
I replaced my 275/70/17 Wrangler Silent Armor tires with 285/70/17's. Same model of tire. They look a little better and still ride just as nice. They're great tires!
Tilt-A-Rack & 28" Troy-Bilt snow thrower.
This ugly Ridgeline sure does make my Tacoma look good. LOL.
I installed Doug Thorley long tube ceramic coated headers. It gave a nice HP gain. None of my exhaust system is stock now. My intake and exhaust system consists of URD TCAI, URD MAF Calibrator, URD Y-pipe, and 3" SS piping. I removed all 4 of the stock catalytic converters and I installed a single Magnaflow High-flow cat just in front of the muffler (this cat is not shown in any of the pictures because I recently added the cat, and haven't updated the pics). I bought a SS Magnaflow #14589, and then I dumped the exhaust behind the axle for a cleaner look behind the truck. Big shiny exhaust tips aren't really my thing. BTW, in my area of the country we don't have any vehicle inspections or smog tests. No worries about the modified exhaust system. I installed an Empire O2 Simulator to keep the Check Engine Light from coming on. The simulator is mounted behind the passenger kickpanel. Cables run from the Sim to the OEM O2 sensor plugs. You can then totally remove your rear O2 sensors from the exhaust system.
Here's a video of the exhaust before I added the aftermarket headers.
The stock tail lights have a pink tint to them that really annoys me, so I had a body shop paint them so they blend in with the rest of the truck better. I didn't want them to be tinted too dark, so that the police wouldn't mess me. I've had them tinted for about 2 years now, and no cops have messed with me, yet. The process was: Paint, Clearcoat, Wetsand, and Polish. This cost about $75 to have done.
I installed a custom 1-piece Tom Woods driveshaft. Like many other Tacoma owners, I experienced some driveline vibration once I added the aftermarket suspension lift. The changing driveline angles and the carrier bearing seems to be the issue. A 1-piece driveshaft fixed the vibration. My truck is smooth as glass now. This is one modification that I highly recommend if you have a lifted truck.
I installed a compressed air system with a 5 gallon aluminum tank and Air Zenith compressor. It is used for airing up tires, running small air tools, and my train horns. This system was pieced together from places all over the internet. This whole system was not a kit that I purchased anywhere.

Check page 7 for more pics of the air system.
This video was taken about 2 years ago. In this video I'm running the horns at about 145 psi, but recently I increased the pressure switch to about 180 psi. It's even louder now. I should make a new video. Anyway, turn up your volume and check out this video.
I also got a sweet deal on a Snugtop bed shell. It fits the truck perfectly, and is very well made.
I also installed Yakima tracks, cross bars, and a MegaWarrior on top of my camper shell. It's very solid and is great for big hunting trips with lots of gear and animals to haul.
These are new, reverse rim versions of my previous wheels. I got them powdercoated in gunmetal gray. Too many people have black wheels, so I got something a little different. Notice how the valve stem is not visible. Nice smooth look and easy to clean. Thanks to the guys at Boze Alloys for making these wheels just how I wanted.
Boze just made me these custom hub cap centers.
I installed OME Dakar leaf packs, new wheels, brake rotors and pads. I replaced the stock front brakes with EBC slotted rotors and Hawk ceramic brake pads. The truck seems to stops a bit quicker now.
For the suspension lift I went with Donahoe Racing coilovers & rear reservoir shocks, OME Dakar rear leafs, and Camburg upper control arms. For wheels I went with custom built and powdercoated Boze Alloys Stinger6 wheels. The wheels are wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors. The ride is awesome. These tires are pretty much the best AT tire that GoodYear has ever made. Read the tire review HERE
OME Dakar leaf packs. They ride great, increase payload capacity, and give a good 3" of lift.
EBC brake rotors and Hawk brake pads.
Here's some generic pics of my aftermarket SS brake lines, tires, and suspension components.
I had AALs in the rear, but I wanted a little more lift and suspension flex, so I just bought a pair of OME Dakar leaf packs, bushings, and carrier bearing spacer. Send me a message if you're interested in buying them, or the whole stock leaf pack with AAls. Here's the Dakar leaf packs before I installed them.
These pics were taken when I had the black wheels and AALs in the rear. You can see that the truck is not lifted as high as it is now. The AALs only gave about 2" of lift.
First set of Boze Wheels
I installed the GrilleCraft grill and switched all the marker and blinker bulbs to LEDs.
Stealthy ScanGauge install in the overhead console. Check page 4 for more info.
I installed a new battery and upgraded some wiring to help power the 2500 watt sound system, and other electrical accessories.
Eclipse AVN-6610 Navigation/DVD/Sirius head unit.
Eclipse BEC-105 backup camera.
Morel 9" midbass woofers in the front doors.
Seas Lotus Reference tweets in the A-pillars.
Check out more pics of my sound system on page 10 .
Weathertech Floor Liners
New switches to control the PIAA off road lights, backup lights, and manual turn On for the electric radiator fan that I installed in place of the stock clutch fan. Turning the fan on manually makes the A/C a lot more consistent and cold when you're in traffic and air isn't moving through the condenser. At highway speeds the adjustable thermostat takes control of the fan. This mod has really helped my MPG, and probably freed up a few HP because it isn't running directly off of the engine, like the stock fan does.
Cascade Audio Thermo-Acoustic Hoodliner
I use detailing products from Adam's Polishes to keep my truck protected and looking good.
