Hi everyone,
this is a page on my little pocket rocket. 87 Plymouth Horizon that has been transformed from a school teachers daily driver to one fast mean machine.
Enjoy.
I bought it a few years ago from a school teacher - cost $400. The body had 85K on it. Virtually rust free. Since then the car has gone through extensive mods and has seen very little road and a lot of wrenching but I'm hoping to change that this summer ; ).

Engine bay is empty ready to receive new block and tranny.

First day with the new engine and tranny (87 2.2l Turbo 1 engine and A520 tranny donated from a 87 Daytona Pacifica - cost $175).

I also used the bigger sway bar in the front from the Pacifica. Going from 3/4 to 1 1/4 was a noticeable improvement.

Here are a few picks of the engine bay after all the work is done. Can you believe it runs!

This is a pick of the car on it's first big tires.
225/50/15's! A little big for the street but good for the track.

I also used all the brakes from the Pacifica including the front and rear disk setup, brake cylinder and front knuckles.
Even the exhaust and Dynamax muffler from the Daytona fit!

This is a Dyramax intercooler I found on a junk yard and bought for $20. It's way too big for my car.... unless I put it in the trunk.

Here's a pick of our first local Turbo Dodge Club meet last year (Edmonton, AB, Canada).

Twin coolers babe.

I also relocated the battery to the passenger side and put in 2 T-Bird intercoolers in the front.

The car also runs on a T-Bird turbocharger with a .60 a/r compressor wheel and housing.

The car was sitting kind of high so I decided to lower it a bit. This is the way it looks with 2 coils cut.

Now it sits on Ford Focus Adjustable Coilovers.

Car also uses a 25% reduction underdrive pulley.

Here is my friends Dobry new vehicle. 84 Shelby Charger with a HO 2.2l Engine. Bought 2007 Jan 21.
