I bought a very nice set of OEM Bosch European headlights, turn signals and headlight wipers off eBay. There were still several small pieces I needed to complete the install, so I bought those from Jonathon at Blue Ridge MB.

This is a very easy job for any do-it-yourselfer to take on. I found tons of instructions on the web, especially at BenzWorld and MercedesShop. These came in very handy. The most difficult part of the install is knowing all the parts you need and acquiring them. The euro wipers have different mounting brackets, require different under-headlight valances, the wiper arms and motors are different as well. I had to get the valances painted at a local shop as they only come from Mercedes in black.

Here are some during and after shots. In some of the pictures, the headlights and turn signals are installed, but not the wipers. My mounting brackets arrived just as finished putiing the car back together... So there I went, tearing it all up again to finish the wipers also.

The only problem I ran into is the new wiper arms do not have the washer nozzles built in. So, now I have nozzles that poke through the valance, but don't hook up to anything. I'm looking into an alternative nozzle that will squirt up onto the headlight, or buy the wiper arms that have the nozzles built in.

You really got lucky with those wipers because I have no idea on eBay where to start looking for those headlight wipers. You have any other places you know to find Euro Headlight Wipers?

I am in complete disbelief, I WANT YOUR CAR! I have had a 560SEL for 2 years, its been my dad's car since it was brand new. Unfortunately, he knows nothing about maintenance, that and left it out in the sun every day. I want to either get another or fix the one I have, and I might even use this car as a guideline. Where did you get the OEM wheels, badging, grille, lights/wipers, chrome bits, and burl shift knob? I also want that lockbox you have, I never had one, my interior went to hell years ago.
