Here's a journal of sorts, about what my car was, and what it has become. I can proudly say that this journal covers everything that has been done from Day 1 till now....it's everything i ever wanted in a Daihatsu Charade...

The stock Daihatsu Charade G100 CB-23 runs on a 993cc , SOHC , 6 valve , 3 cylinder, carburetor engine. Not the most high performance car but to me, it is a great learning platform and has decent performance considering its a sub 1000cc car.

It is not the perfect car to be a street tuner, but i love it nonetheless and have poured my heart and soul into making it what it is today.

Right now, my car is powered by a 1.3 Turbocharged '95 Toyota Starlet 4E powerplant. This is not a new concept as i have quite a number of friends who've chose this as their weapon of choice....

Although this may seem ridiculous to some, i'll say it anyway...
I've nicknamed her Charlotte..(CHARade + starLET).... ok so the starlet part doesnt quite spell the same....but i just like the name...

On the following pages are pics before and after the conversion.

There wasnt much difference in terms of cosmetics as i was working toward getting the car running at its optimum....

I cant say that she would have won any autoshows, but definitely more than capable of holding her own on the road....

But still...she was no where near complete....
