This is actually my grandfather's car. I am 15 and I am helping him restore it in hopes of driving it someday. It is a '55 Bel Air 4-door. The engine is a '57 283. We are installing front disc brakes and rack and pinion steering. I am building LED brake lights, parking lights, and backup lights. The interior will be light grey with front and rear leather seats. We are still trying to decide whether to repaint it yellow and white or go with a maroon and silver combination. This is a picture of when we first bought it a few months ago. The car was in excellent shape and had only a few spots of rust when we got it home. I will try to post some more recent pictures as soon as possible. Right now we have the body completely off of the frame. We are in the process of knocking a few minor dents out of the passenger side. I have started sanding on the rear fenders and the doors. We are hoping to finish this project by the end of summer so we can focus on finishing our '67 Camaro.

Left: The passenger door has a minor scratch.
Right: The driver side doesn't have any major scratchs.

The frame is in pretty good shape. We pressure washed it to get all the grime and junk off of it.

This is a model we painted just to see how this color combination looked together.

This is my second hobby. This is my '04 Arctic Cat 400. I put 27" ITP 589 MUD/SNOW tires on at the end of 2004. I put some clear driving lights on the front to increase visibility at night. I will post some pictures of us mudriding soon.

Nice four door Bel Air! I'm lovin' it! Either color combination will look good on the car when it's painted. Do you have any new pics of it yet? Check out my 55 Chevy if you like.
