This is my 1989 Plymoth Acclaim 2.5L SOHC turbo. The car is prity much 100% stock at the moment. All though I custom made an Intake out of a 2500 series chev pickup exhost pipe. It worked out ok.. Got rid of the air box to alow the stock BOV to be herd and the turbo you can hear alot clearer now. I have also taken off the rocker cover to replace the gasket and ended up painting it red. sanded off the paint off the writing on the cover. clear coated the whole thing.. looks amazing.. Still being my first Mopar car.. and doing reserch on the Acclaim and the Spirit have noticed they are not a bad car at all. But being a transmition builder before. I still say the auto trans sux ass larg.. I'm gona switch it to a 5 speed when I have more time or if the auto blows.. (probly will.) its the original trans.. and the last owner never changed the oil in it.. it is now at 196000 KM so.... it will go soon enough I'm sure.

Just went to the scrap yard on 45 dollar day. You go in pay your money and cary out as much as you can. I managed to get out of there with a 523 5 speed trans and the clutch/brake pedles. Got two front strut asymblys, as well as rear brake asymblys. As well as the brake master and the perportioning valve. But wont be for a wile till I get it all in. I still need to get the shifter itself, as well as the linkage and brakets. not to mention the rear torq strut. but still If and when I get it in I will post pics.
