Page One This is my 1983 BMW 320I. It orginally had a 1.8 ltr 4 cyl. with an automatic trani. It now has a 355 cui chevy small block with about 450 h.p. The engine and trani are out of my old drag car which used to turn high 10's in the quarter mile. I have installed a full roll cage and fuel cell in the car. I started the project in Nov. of 2003 and had the car running and ready for the road in April of 2004, all this done by myself. I had the engine and trani in and out 7 times all in one peace so I could get it to fit where I wanted it to. The most oftened asked question I get when I go to car shows or cruises is " Why would you do that?" My answer is " Kuz I can" The car is no light weight either,with the orginal engine the car weighed 3400 lbs. so now with the roll cage and small block ???????????? gota get it weighed. The tires are 245/50x14 on rear and 205/65x14 on the front. Future project is to tub the rear of the car out so its ALL TIRE more than likely with a ford 9" read end.Oh btw the car's name is BEVY. Which is BMW and CHEVY, kinda makes sense eh?
