This is my 1993 GMC k1500 4x4 it has 200,000 miles on it. it got a 4.3 liter with a 5-speed, 3.73 ratio. Its nickname is "jake brake" because when you let off the petal thats what she sounds like. I have pulled 1000 bushels(60 pounds per bushel) of corn at one time before. She aint weak, shes a very strong runner.
I have 31x 10.50s buckshots on it. It has chrome dmi class 4 bumper on the back. I just put a brand new motor and tranny and t-case. I am currently putting and stainless steel line and hoses on it. Its a hard working truck it has made our farm run very smooth.
This is what she looked like after a year of me rebuilding it
Last spring i took the truck to crums mud run for some fun. we washed most of the mud off after practice that what it looked like after one run through the speed pit. In practice I got stuck in mud that came to the door handles.
Heres what she looked like when i got back
These where takin this winter before i began rebuilding it. the red truck is my 1986 chevy that i am starting to rebuild it now Its painted CASE IH red.
This was taken right after i blew the motor up i snaped the cam in half somehow, the whole motor was a total loss
The frame was complelty repainted, The brand new GM 4.3 motor it was bored .40 and has a bigger cam and head work and is now running and the front end is about to be put on. The motor was test in the factory at 200 hp 300 lbs torque. But i want more power to show up small block trucks.
