This is my 1963 Pontiac Laurentian. It is a sister to the Strato cheif, star cheif and parisienne models, and is unique because canadian Pontiacs of this style were made on a complete chevy running system. only the body and interior are pontiac peices. I bought this car about a year ago for $700 cdn, which is a steal because the original inline 6 is in immaculate condition with only 83000 original miles. currently i have the entire interior removed and i am replacing some weak spots in the floor and will be starting fabrication of a custom sub enclosure and console. i am switching the drivetrain from an inline six/3spd on the column to a 305/turbo 350 setup in the near future. the motor i will be swapping in has a mild performance build which should make cruising that much more fun. this is the stance the car will be at while not in motion. i am currently pricing air ride systems, and since i wont really want to do anything that fancy i will probably opt for a FB kit rather than FBSS.These are two possible color schemes im thinking about, (they are kind of crude i just did them quickly in photoshop) and i would like any suggestions that anyone has. Once i have installed my air ride and new drivetrain i am going to put a set of boyd coddington smoothies or foose design type s wheels. i dont want to buy them yet until i know how large of a wheel i can accomadate.
