SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! it wasnt a bad car, not nearly enough horsepower for me...currently saving to buy a Cobra. The Contour topped out at 112mph because of the govenor, I know i could fix that but it really wasnt worth the work on it.

All I currently have is an aftermarket sound system, but soon to come is a C-27 body kit,5 lug conversion, Axis Hagen wheels, 1 inch body drop, Strut bar, and many engine upgrades...
I haven't had the car very long, a few things that have been unfortunite about this car are:
1. The governor forces the car to top out at only 110MPH (you can feel the engine jerk a little when you top out).
2. My sister left the sunroof cracked a little one night and the headliner around the sunroof is now coming down (easy fix, just haven't had time latly).
3. The trunk seal was leaking a little bit, I fixed that.
Luckily, I haven't had any major problems twith the car yet, but then again, I only bought the car about 2 months ago.
One thing to keep in mind, If you buy a Contour, Make sure it can pass emisson standards...I just spent $520 on four 02 censors, and went through hell cleaning out my EGR valves.
I bought the car as a good, reliable, decent gas milage, yet still sporty and fun to drive. This car has definatly met my expectations. The gas milage is a little disapointing but its MUCH better than my 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee (I get about 21mpg, but I drive the car pretty hard)
