I am unable to modify this car, but I was craving a hard hitting system to drive to, so I had to make an install that can be removed without anyone knowing it was there.
I disconnected the stock Bose sub and used a hi-lo RCA convertor to run RCA's to my amplifier. The amp is a Hifonics Brutus BX1500D. It is pushing a pair of RE SE 12's with 1500w of power @ 1 ohm. The subs are in a 4.06ft^3 ported enclosure tuned to 34hz. This is by far the loudest setup I have owned, I can't wait to get my hands on the SX's.
Next this on the agenda is switching out the mids and highs. The "premier" stock Bose components sound like crap.
