Jeff’s Eagle Vision

  • Currently 3/5 Stars.

Pioneer DEH 86 head unit, 2 kenwood amps-1 excelon 2 channel and 1-4 channel. 2 Infinity Kappa 10" DVC subs(these monsters can handle 1000 watts each), receiving 800+ watts. Infinity Kappa 3 way 6x9's and the Infinity Kappa 5 1/4" component system, in addition to the 5 1/4" kappa mid-ranges the component system includes the Infinity Kappa crossovers and the Infinity Kappa tweeters for supreme high's, powered with 100 watts to each speaker. I also have a Phoenix Gold line driver, which amplifies the signal to the subs(making it alot louder!!) and a 1 farad Stinger Capacitor for those deep hits. And the actual car...For those of you who have never heard of an eagle vision here ya go. The car is an Eagle Vision TSi which is made by chrysler. It is the same thing as the Chrysler Concorde And the Dodge Intrepid ES. The only difference is that the eagle is equiped with a larger engine(3.5l instead of 3.3l). The V6 engine puts out 215 horses. It has with the sport package giving it the sports suspension as well as wider wheels/tires. The rims on it are factory 16" polished aluminum.

My Pioneer DEH-86 with 3 sets of preamp outs, 2 for the hi's amp and one for the sub amp. This Cd player looks awsome, it fits perfectly and looks better then the factory radio, along with the celli and climate control.

I installed the tweeters on my dash for optimal imaging. The way that I have them the sound is pointing right into the main cabin.

I have them mounted on the rear deck. They are angled perfectly so the sound is reflected off the window and into the main compartment of my car. I decided to keep the factory grills instead of using the kappa grills. In between the 6x9's you see ports with the 5 1/4 kappa grills as covers.

It sends 75/100 watts rms/max to each speaker. I decided to go with an amp for the interior speakers because of the huge increase in volume and sound quality.

This amp is equiped with the powerslide door(which is really cool...it opens when the amp starts to heat up and automatically turns on the fan). This amp is also equiped with B.M.S. or base management system. This sends 800+ watts to my subwoofers.

This amplifies the signal from the receiver from 2.6 volts to 8 volts which goes into the sub amp. This makes the bass alot louder and cleaner. The Line Driver gives me a 0-20db bass boost.

I got 2-10" Infinity Kappa DVC (dual voice coil) subs. These puppies can handle 1000Watts each. I have them inside a smal sealed Q-logic enclosure giving each sub the recomended .65 square feet of air space. I went with a small sealed box because it offers the tightest bass.
