showme71vette's 1971 Chevrolet Corvette

_____________________________The new Hammerhead________________

Showme's 71 corvette Ragtop. One piece oneoff tilt front. C-4 suspension and 355sbc roller,Ported and shaved. Modified 750 holley,Unilite dist,Twin intercooled turbos, ect. Many more mods to come!! Car has been seriously lightened with all aluminum suspension and drive shaft,(being polished)and heavy front crossmember replaced. Rack and pinion is 2 and 1/4 turns from stop to stop. If it dont need it it was removed. Tunes are provided by Twin turbos and geardrive! All corvette. Custom one off tilt front was built from foam,(Shaped the way a surfboard is made)and is all fiberglass. The body has had the fenders widened and vents altered. The bumpers have been removed and body smoothed out! Future plans include a 6spd! Wheels are OZ Racing 12"wide rear,10"wide front! More body mods to come! Paint is temporary! All hot rod primer for now! I'll make it wilder!! No times yet,but car is Quick! Has allready snapped the torque arm!Shooting for 2800lbs or less.(will keep you posted!) All of the work and mods I have done alone! This might not mean alot to most but I feel that anyone with a little cash can buy or have a bad boy built!
This was NOT a restorable car when I got it!It was too far gone to restore!
I WELCOME your comments and thoughts. Please be mature! FOR THOSE WHO DONT UNDERSTAND THE PAINT.IT WILL REMAIN IN PRIMER UNTILL ALL BODY MODS ARE COMPLETE!(Because it can be done a section at a time!) Thanks.
The sound of this car on the street is awesome!

HammerHead Is being transformed!!! The look was just not mean enough to match the rest of the car! It was back to the drawing board! New front,Tail, and side mods.
This is the new look for Hammerhead.

This car was built by hand from the drawing.I spent a year just designing the new front.(hundreds of drawings and measurings)It is truly "One of a kind."

The new beast lives!
