Starting to reassemble the front end. I had every part powder coated with a black satin finish including the control arms. The cast parts were clear powder coated. Getting the new Moog springs up in there was a heck of a job without the weight of the motor to compress the spring. I had to first compress the spring with a spring compressor to slip it into the spring housing and then carefully wrap a chain around the bottom of the jack and around the frame to compress the spring enough to get the new spindle on. Don't try this at home unless you know what you're doing because you could kill yourself.

I work as an engineer so I have a some knowledge about how things should work but I would be totally lost if I didn't have my handy 1968 Camaro Assembly manual. This is the manual they used at the factory to build these cars.
Someday I'm going to creat an index and table of contents for this book.
Here's another shot of the frontend with the control arms and spindles attached. That powder coating looks very nice. I highly recommed it and it really isn't that expensive. I've got about $500 in media blasting and powder coating which included the frame, control arms, all the engine brackets, and other assorted pieces (probably 50 pieces in all)
