The car as it was when I purchased it It looks pretty good but little did I know what was hiding underneath. Plus someone really wanted an SS so they drilled holes in the front fenders to hang 1969 SS badges. I don't have anything against people making clones but the car was fine as a Rally Sport.
From this shot all looks okay but that just goes to show how deceptive internet pictures can be. The motor turned out to be a dog, a late model, low compression 350 with about 150hp. It was dirty, nasty, had lots of leaks, and just plain sucked wind.
Here it is after pulling. This thing sucked big time and had to go. So I went searching for the correct date coded motor. The car was built with a 275HP 327 and that's what I wanted to put back in it.
