Camarochick22's 1989 Chevrolet CamaroHi my name is Erin and welcome to my camaro page. I own an 89 RS. This is my second camaro. My 1st camaro was a red 91 RS which sad to say rusted away with only 56K on it. If you wanna check out the red one you can go here
I bought the 89 back in January of 05 from a family in PA. It has 81K on it,T-Tops and ZERO rust. It was totally stock. It came with a 305 TBI and it's an automatic. It had the deluxe tan leather interior, leather wrapped steering wheel, ERS sound system. It also came with the factory hatch louvers. The car had a couple of flaws. It had a dry rotted interior, ugly 15 inch rims, and a slow 305. Glad to say those flaws are gonna be fixed.

New as of 11-19-06/B>
Whoa! what is up! i got hella updates! I finally got my hood painted. It looks awesome! I also added some IROC stripes to match my rims. The outside FINALLY looks complete! Oh and the best part is...I finally bought a supercharger! I got a Procharger that will provide me with 12 pounds of boost! I'm in the process of switching over to a new computer system(more details to come later), once the system is tuned, the procharger will be dropped in. I cant wait!
i also threw in some 4th gen seats. The interior finally looks good too, no more crappy seats. :)

NEW AS of 11-7-05
-Engine is ripped out again. This time the whole bottom half is getting rebuilt in hopes of getting supercharged this summer. The engine is getting a new cam, it's a Lingenfelter 213/219 496/502 112LSA , Lunati Pro Mod Connecting Rods, Trick Flow pushrods,Comp Cams 986# springs , retainers, and 10* Race Locks and forged Wiseco Pistons. It will be bored .30 over to a 355. Keeping the stock crank. Tranny is also in the shop getting rebuilt as i type this. I'm really excited how things are turning out. I cant wait until the summer :)

I'd like to do an engine swap too, when I get the funds. A supercharged 350 seems to be the way to go? I heard the biggest engine you can just swap in is a 383, but I'd like to keep it a daily driver, you're right, the 305 just isn't enough punch. You seem to know your stuff, and your car looks fantastic, I'm in love with black. Do you have any suggestions for me?
