hey nice ride it looks great i have a question..I have a 88 Honda Civic DX 1.5, that broke down on me friday, i was in 3rd gear at about 7 1/2-8 rpms, when it kicked me out of gear , i heard a pop in the motor " like the timing belt broke' and then i had no power, i clecked the timing belt and it was fine i tryed startin it the timing belt was fine and the crank will turn freely, it would try to crank but then backfires out the intake, i think it might have jumped timing, does u know how to adjust the timing belt, or what u think might have happened, any info u can send me will be great , my email is sweet_sexy_hott@yahoo.com , hope to hear from u soon THNx Latricia

What's up and thanks for checking out my Civic. I got the whole kit from Streetstyler.com for like $250. If you check page 6 on my site, I've changed my Type Zero skirts to EKs from a 98 coupe. ($75 used) Nice Civic you have there by the way. A lip kit on white looks hot. +1 for that. Take care...

I think the si is sold in Ireland. Maybe its lsi. I know its a 1.5 litre single overhead cam Vtec. Has drum brakes on the rear. Then there is the SIR, its a 1.6 litre double overhead cam Vtec with discs on the back, rated standard at around 165 - 175 BHP I think. There's loads of different type of civics over here, alot of used jap imports come in because we both drive right hand drive cars. Fair play with the turboing, hope it turns out ok for ya!

nice car! about how much did you pay?? they'r about $8-9K in my country if your lucky to find one. Is it a SIR or VTI? How do you plan on lowering the compression ratio of the engine when turbocharging??
