1st Annual Z BBQ Event for Temecula Show...
Well the 1st annual BBQ @ my house was a huge success. Yes, that's right...annual now! We all had a great time talking, admiring each other's Z's, playing pool, grubbin on some mad bbq burgers and hot dogs w/ tons of snacks, beer, vodka & rockstar, went swimming till like 1am, miniture golf in the back yard, darts, arcade golf w/ Golden Tee, listenin 2 music play through all parts of the house and the backyard. Danny, Dan, Lil Dave, Corona Dave and John all stayed the night and we enjoyed just BSin' about Z's of course, ghost stories and phobias and freaky bugs...LMFAO!
Then waking up @ 6:45am to have a z car wash in my driveway. We were washing 5 Z's @ once. Then the rest of the group going to the show showed up...Big Dave, Jorge (went to the BBQ on Sat, but didnt stay over), and new hopefully future members Brian and his girlfriend Rachel. Brian had a lil trouble getting to my house and broke down a lil less than a mile away caravanning w/ Big Dave and Jorge...Brian's coil went out and had a vaccuum idle problem. But a trip to the parts store solved the coil and good luck got him the rest of the way w/ the support of r club. Welcome and hope u felt like family. Running a lil late...we all continued on the journey to the Temecula show.
Our Absolute Z Club caravan consisted of 9 Z cars...in which we took our 33 mile trip from my house to Temecula on the 15 S all of us in a straight line, 9 of us in a row just cruising along around 65-70 mph. We got so many stares, glances, waving hellos, nodding heads, and thumbs up the whole way there.
The show was extremely hot and exhausting the whole time. A whole long 4 hours later...we decided it was time for us all to cruise back to my place and start the BBQ all over and again jump in the pool to cool off.
We parked all 9 Z's in my driveway...and had room for more! I know we can get the whole club in my driveway strategically of course. Kinda hard to get the right angle pic there, so we migrated the Z's to the cul-de-sac part and took some decent group shots and big thanx to my mom for helping w/ those and she also decided to take a video of us (soon to be hosted hopefully). Most of the club stayed till around 7pm.
Big thanx to my Mom and Dad for bbq'in and havin all the guys over...and 1 girl. We all had a great time and kept it relaxed and very cool. Every1 was very pleasant and we all got along as usual. We r an awesome club full of great people and one of a kind personalities. So much that went on, I could prolly go on and on about, but it was just something u had to be there for!
To all of u who couldn't be w/ us this year...u missed a fun time and we hope to see u next year or the next go around!
