KT SO
Whats up, Welcome to my CarDomain page, My name is Steven aka Dark Drift, Creator of the JDM Life Cardomain Group. And this is my Nissan 240SX/Silvia S13 (Built not Bought). I've owned her for 6-7 long years now as my daily driver turned full project thats always under construction. Every modification up to now has been performed by me, And I still have so much left to do.
I have many aspirations and goals, I Dream of one day making it big with my music and/or drifting, I also have a long time dream of moving to Japan
I would best describe my lifestyle as one day at a time. I love life and try to make the best of any situation. Never taking for granted what I have, And doing my best not to get myself down with what I don't. I say live life to the fullest, Because you never know what's going to happen tomorrow...
Feel free to drop a line in my G-book(s) with any opinions, suggestions, Questions or comments on my Car and/or Page.
EXTERIOR:>>>>>NEXT STEP IS PAINT>>>>>
I will most likely have the body kit painted to match the car for now, and ive been thinking about repainting the entire car, I have lots of ideas for paint colors and originaly wanted to go with Skyline R34 blue, Or Lemans sunset from the 350Z/Z33 maybe two tone with a black top..., But after communicating with friend Nobuteru "NOB" Taniguchi, He suggested that I should paint my car the same color as his personal S15, S14, & 180SX. I might just take his advice and switch it up, I do love that color. We'll see, Stay tuned!...
JDM Conversion(s):
First I started by converting her over to the JDM 5 Lug setup with new 5 Lug hubs & bearings by Ichiba. Which will allow me to run Bigger Wider wheels with crazy offsets and better clearance for Big brakes like the Z32 upgrade or maybe the Gold Brembo setup off the Z33 or GTR.
Next it was time to ditch those skinny 4 lug wheels. A few years back I found my dream wheels, A set of authentic JDM Nissan Skyline GTR R34 wheels. Size 18x9.5 with a +30 offset. They are wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza RE040 225/45/18 Tires that are slightly stretched (Hipari).
I was originaly going to go with a set of Grenades that were the look alikes. But came across these at the right time. Big ups to RB Motoring. Personaly I would rather own these than a set of Volks, Works, Or Gram Lights ect. Anyday. You can get those anywhere, Just try to find a set of these for sale here in the states and you'll see what I mean. But Damn I was so close to buying a Front Clip.

Spare wheels, Nissan 350Z 18" Staggered Track edition Wheels by Rays Engineering. Gotta love Nissan Wheels.
Next it was time for her to go back to her JDM roots (exterior wise).
After almost going with the S15 strawberry face, I decided to stick with the Silvia S13 Front End Conversion. GoodBye Flip up headlights and pignose. It was fun while it lasted,
She looked so sad on her last day with flip ups ):
On to bigger and better things. I got some good deals on all the parts needed and couldnt pass them up. To be different I decided to go with the JDM non-projector dual beam headlights because I see more people with the dual or triple projectors. With them came the Brackets, OEM JDM Silvia Grill and Turn signals/winkers. As shown in the picture.
I now have the option of changing my car's grill.
Silvia Grill was stolen off of my car, Upgraded to a Chargespeed Grill.
10000K Xenon HID Coversion Kit
Next I came across a very lightweight & functional vented FRP S13 "Drift" Hood from Chaser Aerodynamics C-Wings. It has some big ass vents that help dissipate all that hot air under the hood and looks aggressive.
I called up Origin-Lab for a set of lightweight FRP 30mm widebody dual vented S13 Front Fenders and (50mm rear overfenders Not installed yet). The vents on the front fenders compliment the hood. They flow good together.
To complete the conversion I needed a front bumper so I decided instead of just getting a stock jdm S13 front bumper I might as well get a aftermarket one and ended up getting a full body kit. I was looking for something I havent seen on other S13'S on the road or at the track. So for now I went with a JDM Works 9 style kit. Check it out.
She lost alot of weight during the process. Her whole front end is now lightweight Fiberglass.
I'll post more pics after it has been painted. I also have a R34 rear wing that needs to be repainted and installed for now untill I get a CF one.

SUSPENSION:
The first stage was
Tein S. Tech Springs & KYB Shocks.

Final Stage: KYB shocks and Tein springs came out in favor of: TEIN SUPER DRIFT SIDEWAYS MASTER FULLY ADJUSTABLE COILOVERS.

Circuit Sports Front Strut Tower Bar
Once the car is ready for some hardcore drifting. It will be stripped down to bare metal, cleaned, spot welded chassis, Roll cage, Paint, A couple of bucket seats. All business and pleasure. All of the suspension is being upgraded to drift spec parts. F/R Strut tower bars, Braces, Stabilizers, LSD ect... Different wheels & tires...
UNDER THE HOOD:
While most 240 owners would choose to do the SR swap first. Im doing the opposite. Exterior modifiations first, Then Suspension & Drivetrain, Interior, And then the heart transplant. Ive been giving it alot of thought and have finaly came to a decision. Since Im going all out on the car and have dreams about owning a Skyline, I'll do the next best thing and keep the theme going with an RB26DETT. Most likely out of a GTR R32 Or GTR R33 We'll See. Who knows with that money I could also just get an SR and have money left over for upgrades.
Meanwhile i've been taking good care of the KA, Being ruff on her every now and then when she wants to play. Definatly Could of already had an SR or RB under the hood for the amount of money that has been put into her since Ive had her. But Good things come to those who wait.

My car has a digital heads up display unit HUD (speedometer) Thats reflects off the windsheild and reads out on the cluster but is not working. Its a common problem for 240's of this year with the HUD setup. Its damn expensive to fix so I just kind of follow the speed of traffic when im out till I can get a new one.
