The Datsun Z Garage project car is a very early 1971 240 running a Nissan/Borg-Warner T5 5-speed, 4.11 rear end, and a well modified 2.8 liter from a 1983 280ZX with 10.25:1 compression. A ported P90 turbo head, Webcamshafts stage 2 cam, and 1970 dual SU carbs with 'secret' needles top it all off. The 280ZX Electronic ignition is a big plus.
Above is a photo from the Darien Connecticut Nissan dealer showroom. In Summer 2008 I exhibited my car at a Connecticut Zcar Club meeting which took place inside. Racer Bob Sharp was in attendance which was an honor.
