I found my 81 lux on a farm in queensland somewhere. It belonged to a lady who had sideswiped a tree on the drivers side. I initially paid about $1000aus for it and began to do it up. Origionally it was a yellow weld body with a fibreglass canopy. After some persuasion with an axe and a few tools that came off. I kept working on it from the alloy tray to painting it a marinello red then the interior. Then just started adding accessories as they popped up.

I decided to do the interior black with red and chrome tripple tone.
then the bullbar which came off a jeep and the rollbar which came off a newer model SR5 weldbody hilux.
the most recient things i have done is purchasing the 315/75 R16 which replaced my 285/75 R16 on these volk racing custom 4x4mags.
and the in car dvd player with 2x screens on the sun visors
