First off all I just want to thank everyone for stopping by my page. My name is Greg I?m from Dekalb, IL. I?m really big into cars I love going to car shows and working on them. I brought my Focus in October of 2004. I have a lot of awesome ideas for the car I am just now starting to do things to car a little at a time so keep checking back with future updates. ~Recent Up Dates~
I try to up date as much as possible as you can see below I get to work on my car everyday but I do try and work on it on the weekends so check back for updates.
3/11/07~I took my old Amp out of storage. The Amp is a Hifonics 2 channel 500watts. It was pretty beat up so I wanted to clean the casing up. I took the amp apart and began working on sanding it down. Pictures are on the following page (page 4)
3/13/07~Finished sanding the Hifonics amp down and cleaned off all the remaining dust off and put a coat of primer. Pictures are on the following page (page 4).
4/29/07~Went to put on my rims but when I did I broke the locking lug nut key. The lug nuts had been put on with an air impact when I had the car in for transmission work.
5/2/07~Contiued work on my Hinofics amp. Put the first coat of black paint on the amp. Pictures are on the following pages (page 4)
5/18/07~Went back to check on how the amp turned out it came out pretty nice but the amp had fallen off the hanger that I had it on so I need to wet sand it down and repaint it.
5/19/07~started on a Fiberglass enclosure for my subs and an amp rack. I got both sides of my trunk covered with foil to make the molds. Pictures are on the following pages (page 4).
6/11/07~Contiued to work on the sub enclosure got one of the side molded with the first layer of fiberglass. Waiting for it to dry over night. Pictures are on the following page (page 4).
7/2/07 ~Got some more time to work on the sub enclosure. I finished up the other mold for other side of the trunk.
7/15/07~Went out and got some new subs today. I got ride of my 2 10? Sony?s they were going out so I got 2 12? Pioneers 800 watts each. Pictures are on the following pages (page 4).
7/18/07~ I worked on the enclosure some more I was able to put down the second layer of fiber glass on each mold. Pictures are on the following pages (page 4).
7/29/07~I was able to work on the sub box some more today. I came up with a different idea then I was orinigally going for when I first started this project. I decided to still use the side molding and make a box that would mold to the back of the trunk.
