I got this car in June 2004 with approximately 84,000 miles and I fell in love with it. As of 4/19/05 she has 93,000. She is a 2000 Pontiac Firebird with the 3800 series II V6, 4L60E automatic transmission, and 10 bolt rear end with 3.08:1 gears and an open differential. She is basically as slow as they came in 2000, hence the name Fairybird. Its okay though because she’s a real looker and she sounds great too. \
Update 11/14/05: I just realized that I have been slacking off and havent updated in a long time. The car now has ~100,100 miles. Not shure because my car is in the shop right now because I broke something at the dragstrip last night...I dont have any new pics, but I promise them soon.
Update 12/5/05: It turned out I broke the rear and killed my transmission. I had the transmission race built while I was in there, but I just but some junk gears in the rear until I had money. Now the pinion bearing is a mess. I'm gonna have to have new gears and bearings put in soon. I doubt this gearset is gonna last another month. Probably goin with 4.10's.
