Welcome to my page about my turbocharged 1981 DeLorean DMC-12! I currently don't have that many pictures, but I'll definately be taking some more when the car arrives in North Carolina!

Below are a few pictures of the car the day I bought it from the original owner in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.

Alright, after about a month of trying to find something to tow my DeLorean back to North Carolina with (unsucessfully), I decided to go ahead and drive her back home. I had a bad vibration (not the human feelings kind, the kind that shakes the car) at first, but after a few miles it went away and I was able to drive all the way home with no problems. Coolant problem seems to be solved as well, as the car didn't even touch 200 degrees on the way home (granted, I was in 5th gear the whole time, but still, much better than before). So if you saw a DeLorean on I-85 on the evening of May 7th, it was probably me :-) Now the challenge begins...to get the car inspected! When the turbo was added by the original owner, they took off nearly all of the emissions equipment. So now I've got no cat, no O2 sensor, nothing. How I'm going to get it inspected, I have no idea. I suppose we'll think of something soon...here's to hoping that I don't get pulled over! I've also added a few pictures from my trip home:

Here are a few shots of the new MiniDisc head unit I bought, and will be installing in the next week or so (as soon as I find out what type of bracket I have in my car, and whether I need to get the wiring harness or not). I've always loved the MiniDisc format, even though it never really caught on well here in the States. Oddly enough, the format is madly popular in Europe and especially in Japan. Minidisc players are to them as iPods are to us.
