This is my very first Jeep. With a little TLC, I hope to make it into an awesome trail rig!
The inside of the tub is now sprayed with truck bed-liner.
I removed the hideous tube bumpers.

If you are planning on all that lift I would deff get the bigger tires. You will regret it later if you don't. It is always good to see a Wrangler go from stock to whoa. Can't wait to see all what you did. Keep me posted, and be sure to see mine and vote! -thomas-

Hey Rich! Don't worry, we'll have that Jeep looking bad-assed in no time!

haha, the name couldn't be more true! i'd have to agree with the other guy, a 3" body lift may be too much. i'd plan to run 35" tires, you'll probably just want those eventually, and with a 4 cylinder (like mine) 35's are about the biggest you can go and still have some power. good luck, please keep me posted. phill

Good luck with the Jeep. Check out www.jeepsunlimited.com for tips and pointers on which lifts are good and which ones are crap. 3" of body lift is a lot. I'm not sure how much lift you need on a YJ to run 33" tires but in a TJ you only need 3" total not 7" like your plan. Again welcom to cardomain and good luck. (O|||||||O)
