1993 MR2 Turbo
I bought this car in December 2003.
First and foremost, my son Jeremiah loves working on our MR2. His favorite car is the Supra Mkiv!
Audio Setup
I am running two Alpine V-12 amps. An MRV-F302 is powering two 6.5 inch Polk Audio dbs, and an MRV-T420 is powering two 10" Kicker CompVRs in .71 cu. ft. sealed enclosures. This DIY frunk mounted amp rack is about the best and easiest place to install amps in an MR2. The signal is coming from a 4 volt Alpine 9827 cd player.
I spent about 2.5 hours installing and creating a custom amp rack.
Total cost:
$199 - Alpine 9827 cd player
$250 - Alpine F302 amp
$188 - Alpine T420 amp
$140 - Kicker CompVR subs
$50 - Enclosures
$80 - Polk Audio db Coaxials
$50 - Wires and rca cables
$937 - Total
