I started working on my car again a couple of months ago. Here is the recent progress.

I ordered new sections of both rear frame rails. Here is the new one on the passenger side.

When I cut into the drivers side of the rocker panel I found out it was too rusty. I fabricated the outside piece first and then the inside. Then I welded in the new front spring hanger.

I welded in a pre-fab piece of frame cap from Auto Rust Technicians and then welded in the drivers side frame.

I finished tacking in the rear shock x-memeber tonight. After I install my rear x-member it will be time for the trunk pans.

Great project to undergo - hope it's coming along well, it takes so long esp. w/ bumps and snags and then the $$ issues. Hang in there and keep up the great work. All Challengers are eyecatchers, some are just a little out of focus for a while (; I'll check back on your progress - good luck ~laurie
