These are pictures of the car as of 10-15-05. The roof is the first thing I worked on. It turned out to be mostly surface rust. The only weak spots are near the seam on the sail panel. I sanded down the roof and spray can primed it to hold it for now.

Next I worked on the passenger side of the rear frame and floor. I cut out all of the rotted stuff and fabricated a new section of frame. I got new forward spring mounts from Auto Rust Technicians and welded them in. When it is all said and done, I will weld in a complete frame cap, torque boxes, and sub-frame connectors.

I patched in some new metal for the floor under the rear seat.

I won’t be able to work on my car for a couple of months, so I installed the new front spring hanger, shackles and the leaf springs. I put it back on all fours for now.
