I'm Matt. 19 years old and I own a 1973 AMC Javelin, big bad green is the color. It is in the process of a rebuilt 350 being dropped into it for spring 2007. The engine has flattop pistons, 625 demon carboration carborator, high lift intake manifold, heavy duty camshaft, new bearings, and nice heads. ( i cant tell you exactly the head size or camshaft size because i didn't get the engine yet.)
The Javelin has Cardian Interior (seats, doorpanels, roof lining), gauges in the "homemade" hood scoop, Cragar "Torque Thrusts", Dynomax Preformance xhaust system with headers, turbo 350 automatic transmission with a shift kit, and bunch more goodies.
Me and my dad Paul bought it off of Darren O'Brien for 500 bucks. It was in rotten shape. It used to be a drag car and was also used in the police force. Registered for 140 mph.It was fully restored summer of 2005. got any questions, send em on over to bubba_compton@hotmail.com ... if anyone knows where i could get any parts whatsoever for a 71-74 javelin email me!! If anyone is interested in a 304 CI AMC Engine and transmission....we got one for less then 500 bucks for it all....all you have to do is slip it in!
