My first car, a 1995 Ford Explorer XLT Auto 4x4.
(10/26/05)I completed my d.e. today, I got to drive my exploder for the first time alone- THANK GOD! I found that I wanted to keep the windows down even though its in the low 40's today. with 216,000 on my 1995 4wd xlt I beat a chevy silverado, wow they must be slow. I also took my jet chip out and found nothing changed: Im going to call them and complain.I am so impressed by my sway bars; If there is anyone intrested in them you wont be sorry. On Moutain curvy roads it handled like a sports sedan, actually better to my taste- My mom has a 2003 cadilac cts loaded and its a great car but I found that my explorer was more fun and actually had less body roll. The only thing I hate, yes hate I said it, is that my power fails between 45 and 55 but on any other end acceleration is good, also my heat failed to keep me warm even though I had a tabogan and gloves on, my radio worked great its a pioneer, adiobahn, lanzar system, not enogh bass though it melowed out fast with the window open.
(9/28/05) I got the tweeter and amp installed and it sounds great! The amp is a 1000watt lanzar. It cost $280 for the instalation with the tweeters and amp at radioshack. I will post pictures soon.
I got the wires repaired connecting to the sub and amp because they were jerked out of their plugs when someone tried to move the sub.
As of August, 6 2005 it has 215,000+ miles with original engine and transmission.

The Audiobahn subwoofer has a 250 watt amp and is controlled by a jog dial beaneth the dash panel, the speakers are pionneer stock replacements. All of which was installed in the fall of 2004 by a local installer at radioshack.
