So I haven't updated my page in sometime and needed to make sure I keep this up and going. I have since returning from NMRA in Bowling Green continued to show my car as often as I can. Needless to say Texas is not as big on Car Shows as Tennessee and Kentucky are. So my chance to show my car have been limited. I have however shown my car now 8 times and in all but 2 took 1st place. I have seen some pretty amazing cars and alot of people who have put Hundreds of Hours of labor and money into their cars. Here is a picture from my show at the Austin Mustang Club of America Chapter All Ford Show. WON 1st for my Year and model. Here is picture of my ride at the San Antonio Cowboy's Car show. I won 2nd in this event with my friend Vinnie from the HOT ROD SHOP. It was a pleasure to have him beat me. He has a nice ride. Dragnet Carshow at the Forum at Universal City, TX. Took 1st again in my Class. HOUSTON Fun Ford Weekend Car Show 2006. Took 1st for my car in Specialty Class. SAN ANTONIO MUSTANG CLUB CAR SHOW 2006 and my trophy. SAN ANTONIO CAR SHOW, Don't remember the name but took 1st for my car again. I was 1 of only 3 mustangs there! Rest were lowriders and trucks. Very nice cars. My son had a blast, can you tell?

After a few months and couple thousand dollars later, I had a Level 3 Steeda Mustang Cobra Replica. I have enjoyed much of what Steeda offers in a car and their approach to drivable street/strip cars. Mike Morella of Steeda has been awesome with the development and technical help with my car. 90% of the work done on my car was by me and my partner in Crime and the Club Wally. The car had a Saleen Race wing I recently put the Steeda wing and a 95 Cobra R ram air hood. The Exhaust is from Steeda the MagnaFlow High Flow X-pipe with SLP Loudmouth Catback stainless steel Polished 4" tips. The suspension is all STEEDA. I have also upgraded the interior with all Billet aluminum by Steeda. The car has 4:10 gears and a Center Force Clutch (replaced). A Tri-Ax Shifter sits on top of the Transmission. The car has only been shown 6 times winning 1st and 2nd in its catagory each time.

As I have documented I belong to a Mustang club and I enjoy showing my car. As a true blue American Muscle Car enthusiast I have shun much of what I have seen on Mustangs recently which I call part of the import sceen. Although one of my best friends has a lambo door kit on his 98 Rio Red Cobra I always felt that if I just stuck with originality it would win in the car shows we would enter. Well this didn't happen that often. His doors would bring onlookers by the dozen to see this unusual mustang. So I decided to sell out a little and put a LED Light kit on the car. I also upgraded the paint and put some further body kit parts on the car. Louis and Joe two local painters took on the car for creating and then painting the design on this 98 White Cobra. I can't be more happy. Here are some pictures with the car without the wing. While waiting for the cars paint the clutch went out. Well actually the throwout bearing did. Whats bad I just replaced the damn thing 6 months earlier. However the company who did it and placed my quadrant clutch cable in to tight and kept the clutch cable throwout bearing engaged all the time and burned it out. So being concerned that maybe the clutch was bad also I purchased a strong clutch and went with the SPEC Stage II clutch. Then I paid a reputable transmission shop to do the work.

NEW MODS: Okay so I went out and got myself a new audio system. Now most who know anything about the Ford Cobra know that the car comes with a MACH Stereo system with 1000watts of power. It is an over under system (Reciever/tape up top and CD below). Well my CD player started to eat my CD's and keep them... NOT GOOD! So I knew what I wanted a DVD player. It had to be indash with retractable screen. I wanted a brand name everyone would recognized and one known for quality products especially in Audio. So while out looking for a radio/dvd player I came across the Pioneer 5700 with a 6.5" Wide Display AV Receiver/DVD. This was a pain in the ass to install. I didn't want to cut my factory cords just in case I needed to put the factory radio back in. I finally gave up and took it to C&M. A local Audio and Rims shop. They hooked it up and had me back on the road in no time. On another note all major DVD players in car now prevent you from watching the damn thing while driving. (NOTE) this can be bypassed and well I DID! Simple two wire toggle switch did the trick (See the pic below). I love it and can't wait to drive the mustang more. Right now the weather prevents this. Soon I will be on the road enjoying the car. Headers- Yep That is correct I went out and finally did it. I decided on the Bassani Mid-length Headers since they are the best of both worlds. The Bassani Mid-lengths give you the awesome gains that a Long tube would but without the problems. Does'nt stick out under the car to scrape on everything you come across. Then if you have transmission problems you don't have to pull the right header to get the transmission out. I saw over 13hp at the rear wheels when dyno'd at Delk Performance. The only problems you may encounter with these if you put them on a 95-98 Mustang is the EGR Valve tube will need to be modified to fit the car. Also if you want to use a different Mid-pipe you will have to cut the existing one and modify it to line up. I did this for two reasons. One to cut costs of having to buy a new X-Pipe and two I like the High Flow Cats I already have. The car sounds great and runs great. Pictures will follow soon.

Under Construction Here is the pictures of my car during its paint and design. I can't speak more highly of Joe and Louis from Clarksville TN. Joe currently works out of American Auto Body and Louis an instructor for APSU on Auto Body Painting have a side business that does awesome work! As you can see. THIS PAINT DESIGN IS NOT A STICKER! The design was hand drawn onto a template and put onto the stand where it was sprayed onto the body. NO LINES CAN BE FELT. What can I say I wanted the best. Preparation of the car. Joe sanded down the areas to be painted STEEDA RACE WING PREP'd Preparation of the car, Taped off and then the horse is drawn Look at the horses ear on Left. I asked Louis to change this to give it a more edged look that flows. TIME FOR PAINT- Start with the black flames first. So Louis shoots the black paint first.

So I make it to San Antonio Texas and the car made the trip also. I have added a Drive Shaft Safety Loop for the Track and a larger Single Blade Accufab Throttle body. I love the sound and feel of my car. It has been awesome to drive here. I recently took it to Houston for the Fun Ford Weekend to compete in the Car show. My car took 1st in its class (Steeda). Here is a front pic of the car at the show. So, recently many of my friends have been returning from Iraq and buying Superchargers for their cars. Now a majority of them own the 2V SOHC GT. So putting a S/C on them is great and good for 350-370rwhp. Well That is enough for them to pull on me. So I can't have this. I finally broke down and bought a Vortech Supercharger for my car. I went with Vortech mainly for their reliability and dependabilty. They have been in the business longer than the rest and have several patents. I had the guys from the San Antonio Hot Rod Shop do the installation of the S/C. They spent all of Saturday putting it on for me and even stayed open an extra 2hrs to finish my car. I cannot express enought gratitude at the service that Vinnie and his crew have continued to do for me. I will always go to him for any work on my car. Well after installation I took the car 3 days later to Murillio Motorsport in San Antonio for the tune. Again I was greatly impressed with their attention to detail and care for my car. They treated it like their own. 5 hours later my car had 2 tunes and 412rwhp. They gave me 1 tune for around town and 2nd tune for the track. Thanks to Mike and his crew. The Bassani Mid-lengths give you the awesome gains that a Long tube would but without the problems. Does'nt stick out under the car to scrape on everything you come across. Then if you have transmission problems you don't have to pull the right header to get the transmission out. I saw over 13hp at the rear wheels when dyno'd at Delk Performance.
