Well, I've got some money to do some mods... first thing on the list is exhaust. Lets get this thing sounding like it has a pair.
Purchased for $350 shipped cross country, a pair of ceramic coated Arizone Speed and Marine headers (minus the export pipes)yet to go on... EDIT: sold, they werent legal in Cali (couldve passed with SLP sticker) but I figure, if its illegal, it might as well be illegal all the way!! Saving for REAL headers, lol
Then as of fall 2005, got some barely used Spintech ProStreets for about $100 shipped, along with some Dynomax pipes for about $130 shipped... put those together and you've got one badass sounding cop car...
Full mandrel bent 2.5" system with tips and price of welding it up... about $350! Try getting a welded in Spintech muffled system for that much!! They even coated the welds with silver Rustoleum! No rusting!!
Update: 8/16/06 Got my Cold Air Intake kit from Dan at clearimageautomotive.com Great kit, great customer service, beautiful fit, finish, and performance!! Traction... is becoming a serious issue.
10/15/06 Teaser Pic... mwahahaa.
Update: 10/30/06 Installed Clear Image Automotive Budget Headers and hook up pipes over the weekend. Install went about average, for a rusted 11 year old car. Hard to get things out, and a breeze to get things back in. MUCH LOUDER!!
Update: 11/08/06 Installed Dynomax bullet race mufflers as resonators, and stealthier tips! Sounds so much more refined!
Update: 1/1/07 Installed Crane Gold Race Roller Rockers and matching Crane Valve Springs/Retainers. Also put in a PCMperformance computer with LT4 knock module. Man this thing pulls hard! No more valve float at high rpm's, no false knock retard, and nice firm shifts!! Only picture I took, cuz it was messy!
Update: 3/13/07 Installed 1" wheel spacers. Push them wheels out to where they should be instead of that narrow 9C1 look.
UPDATE: 3/28/07 Befan install of new torque converter. Its a ProTorque 10.5" 2800 rpm stall unit. Got it for a deal, so I had to throw it in!! This job was a b!tch!! Probably mostly because of the tools at my disposal, but it was just irritating on a 10 year old rusted car! But she's done!
What I had to work with: Craftsman basic tool kit, set of 4 jack stands, the OEM spare tire jack, and a can of Liquid Wrench lol.
EXHAUST CLIPS... just if yall were wondering how it sounds.

9-8-07 Installed Duralast front rotors, Timken wheel bearings and the 'stealth bolt' mod from Clear Image Auto....
9-10-07 Started The Install of the Hotchkis springs and Monroe Severe Service shocks... rust is our enemy gentlemen. Ive worked on if for about 2 hours and so far Ive already broke the sway bar endlink, and will have to break the top shock bolt...
9C1 equipment vs. Hotchkis/Monroe...
Worked on it some more... whats left of my endlink, haha... out with the old... and a pitman arm puller makes a good balljoint separator (alternative to a pickle fork)... And one side complete!!
ITS ALL DONE... See Page 2 for pics of the new stance!!
BMR Lower Control Arm's that never went on and got sold...
8-24-08 Finally finished up the install of the 3.73's and Eaton. The 3.73's are Motives that I got from a forum member with reluctor for cheap. The Eaton was a 400# unit that I got from an offroading buddy, used in a tow rig, and the install kit came from Dan at Clear Image Auto. Feels much much better than stock. Also retuned the computer thanks to another forum member, so now my speedo is correct and shift points are a little more appropriate. This thing rips! Another hundred miles or so and the fluid will get dumped for some fresh stuff. Stay tuned for video!
