I am a very large starquest enthusiast.  It has been a long couple of years.

I currently have two.  One is a 86 flatty.  I enjoy racing them very much.

How the car was when I bought it.

After a year all the bad bodywork started to

show.  So I went to fixing all of it.

Suspension

MK1 Camber plates and struts.  Eibach ground control coilovers with 450lb springs

Same for the fronts only I cut the stock spring perches to lower it a little more.

MK1 Strut tower bars.   Suspension Techniques front swaybar.   Addco rear swaybar.

Relocated battery to the hatch.  No a/c, ABS, rear hatch panels and trim.  Just carpet!

Well the speakers had to stay.

Here is a shot of the rear hatch at the autocross
