1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible
I've had my sexy beast for a little over 4 years now and i get attached to it more and more every day. There have been a few times where I panicked because of money issues and contemplated giving it up. But no matter how much i made the sale price or thought about someone else owning him, i just couldn't do it. So i held onto him and tried to deal with whatever situation was in front of me. Multiple parts have been replaced on him including carbs and alternator. Little pieces here and there. Right now I have an oil leak from the tranny which has been minimal but the driveway has taken a beating. I'm hoping it slows and stops altogether so i won't have to deal with it.
I need to fix my weatherstipping and other miscellaneous things. But it's time and money. It also needs a good wash but it's too cold to do any of that now. I'm the only one that washes him. Have never taken him to a drive thru or detailing place.
Anyhow thought i'd update since i haven't in a couple years and throw up a pic. Take it easy! -Mo
