It sat uncovered in a yard for 19 years and we took it on as a Father and Son project to get it back on the road again. Since the location was more than 100 miles from where we now live we could only work on it weekends that were free.
All the seals were shot on the carb, starter was frozen,Brake master cylinder push rod siezed, two wheel cylinders shot, and of course the battery dead. After spending a two good weekends with it we got it hot with a spark and ready to fire up late in the after noon. My dad did some trick he heard about from some old timers with a quart of karosen mixed in with the oil. We had a crown of about twelve on lookers not to mention it was a hot and had been a long day. It lit up on the third rotation and sounded as healthy as it did the day she was shut down 19 years previous. We got it up to temp ran it for twenty miniutes and drained and replaced all the oil. We called it a day after that. The 600 Holey started leaking like crazy just before we shut it down. We took it off and took it back to LA to be rebuilt.

A lot of sanding and a lot of primer, even had several patches of cancer cut out and patched.
Had to replace the wheel cylinders, Master cylinder, flush fuel tank, replace raidator, the C4 trans would not engage in any gear.

Since car would not move on it's own we transported it to new location.

Here is my car and my Dad's 64 Sprint.

We had the trans rebuilt and replaced the rusted mufflers with a set of 3 chamber Flow Masters.
