On the right, you can see how a car looks during Canada's harsh winter conditions. Not so nice. Oh well. That's why I have a winter beater; Better than driving my truck in this stuff. You can see it in another parking spot of my Car Domain garage.

This is the replacement of my 1987 Chevy Cavalier Station Wagon. It died January, 2005. Gone but not forgotten.

Currently, the car is undergoing some changes. The first on a list of modifications to happen is the multi-media and stereo. Things are coming along quite nicely, but will probably be a while longer before completion. Here's the story so far...
Drove around for a while using the factory Eclipse MP3 deck but decided there wasn't enough bass, so my old Pioneer DEH-1100 went in to provide pre-outs and I hooked up the Rockford Fosgate Punch 160 amp with 3 JL3 12's in a sub encloser that came out of a Nissan 240SX. The head unit was changed to a Sony CDX-F705X and then a Jensen VM-9410 to replace my DVD player that was acting up and now it has a Jensen VM8012 DVD/MP3/WMA/USB/SD Card/Receiver w/TFT. I bought if for a really good price. The amplifier to run my sub enclosure has changed twice since the beginning as well to a Sony 1 OHM Selectable 2 Channel and now a JL 500/1 which has enough current draw that my headlights, tails and dash lights dim, even when I am driving on the highway @ 120 km per hour. Ouch! I am hoping the alternator will last a while. This winter my JL amp has been acting up and I need to find the time to really figure out what is wrong with it. Of course the sound from the rest of the stereo was not adequate enough. The factory speaks were swapped with MB Quarts components in the front doors and Sony components in the rears. Since June, with the help of a friend Bryan @ Altered Sound, a fiberglass custom enclosure with 3 12" Pioneer subs has been completed, painted with BASF Imperial Blue base/clear by Tom from Top Notch, wet sanded and only needs to be polished before installing it into the trunk. I've also finished fiberglassing the trunk lid to house a fifth screen. After Tom paints that piece, I will take the rear deck lid out again and begin to fiberglass it as well. I only need to decide whether or not I will put a spoiler on the car before I can glass the 3rd brake light into the deck lid or remove it which will make the rear deck lid look even better and different from any other Optra I've seen on the road. Over the winter, I plan to keep myself busy with some other ideas I have up my sleeve to do with my truck:
