Welcome to my COMET67 Project Page

I own this 39 years old Mercury Comet Capri 1967, purchased on December 1966 by Mr. Ives Erinna (R.I.P.), the only owner it has had. I got it as a gift in 2002 by his grandson Ricardo Erinna II and his father Ricardo Erinna who took care of Mr. Ives untill he passed away. The car was unused and stored for about 8+ years, untill I finally got it. One day, I received a call from Ricardo, saying: "hey.. my had has to get rid of my grandfather´s car and nobody can afford it, and since I know you love cars, I thought you might like to take care of it, the only deal is go and tow it right away."... All I did was ask for directions to his place, without even know what I was gonna do with it. To make the story short, I stored the car for about 2 years and a half and now finally it entered the operation room, ready for an open heart surgery.

In this page I will show the step-by-step slow process untill the project is done. In the meantime, I´d like to share with you all some pictures of the car since I got it, untill now.
