My 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier SS. The one-off custom exterior was done at a shop before I bought it. Chevy never made an SS Cavalier and I know many J-Body enthusiasts will rip me a new one for it. But I can't help it, I like the unique styling and the paint scheme.

The car is completely stock except for the exterior, sound system, and exhaust. The 6"x9" rear Polk Momo's would not fit in the stock speaker openings due to their extremely large baskets. I had the rear 'deck' custom cut to fit the speakers exactly. Unfortunately, since the baskets for the speakers are so large, I had to remove one of the horizontal bars that would swing the trunk open so now I have to open my trunk manually. On the upside, the system provides enough kick and sounds great and it was definitely worth it.

An RSM Racing Stage I S/C kit has been installed on my 2.2L Ecotec engine. The ECU was reflashed with RSM's program which helps with tuning. Stewart Warner boost and transmission temp. gauges monitor my engine and tranny while my Innovate Motorsports LM-1 wideband kit will monitor my a/f ratio. A filler piece occupies the third pod in the triple gauge pod which I may use for an indicator light for a DEI CO2 system planned for the summer of '06.
RSM uses Vortech's V-9 G-Trim supercharger for their s/c kit. The kit includes a 62mm throttle body, a 34" Gatorback belt (which has been changed in favor of a 33.5" Dayco belt), an adjustable blow-off valve from Vortech, and all necessary hardware and fittings. The predicted numbers for this kit are 60 whp and just around the same amount of wtq. I also installed NGK TR6 spark plugs (one-step colder) to maintain an appropriate level of heat in the engine.
I have purchased and am awaiting to hook up the LM-1 wideband oxygen sensor kit from carcustoms.net. Previously, the unit was attached to my dashboard using a simple speaker mount. I have recently decided to remove the mount and whenever the unit is in the car to keep it in a concealed location. Since two small holes were left from the mounting screws, I plan on covering the area with a GM "Supercharged" badge embedded in the dash. (New pics will come soon.) With the LM-1 I'll be able to monitor my air/fuel ratio and make necessary adjustments on my computer with the help of the included software. I may install this after installing a header and catalytic converter (due to the fact that I have to attach the sensor so it can get a reading from inside the header).

I have added an aftermarket stainless steel cat-back performance exhaust from Magnaflow Performance. It is a dual exit setup with 3.5" tips. The sound is pristine, with a strong deep tone. The setup definitely helps with relieving the backpressure from the escaping exhaust gases.

I currently have Chevrolet premium 16" chrome wheels on her. Since I just bought the s/c kit, the suspension and brake mods will have to wait until more funds become available. Brake paint (flat black drums, either red or silver calipers) will go on as well to enhance the wheels and the overall look of the car.
