NEW RIMS!!!! Axis OG Racer-X 15x7 with +38 offset 13lbs each!!!
Hyper Silver with a huge 2 1/2" lip. New Tires!!! Yokohama S.Drive 195/55R15.
My old rims are RTX 16x7 with +40 offset 19lbs each. Old tires GT Radial Champiro 195/50R16. Because the new wheels and tires are lighter than my old set-up I can break the tires loose easier and come to a stop faster now. Rotating mass makes a big difference in performance.

I'll get some better pics soon, but here is a little sample for now.

Just Purchased a complete sound system from Future Shop. I got a really great deal for everything. I'll get some better pictures soon. I still have to finish the custom floor now that the back seats are gone.

The screen will tilt forward with a push of a button so I can adjust the heater controls. The amp also has a bass/volume control that got mounted under the head unit in the empty slot. You can also see the JDM coin holder and TRD shift knob in this shot.

Just wanted to show how deep the snow gets in North Bay. As long as you are really carful you can drive a lowered car all winter. I don't own any other vehicals so I just drive the echo all year around.

I had some extra time last week end and decided to finally paint the calipers and drums red.

Decided to remove the rear seats. I don't use them at all. I have plans for a custom floor with sound system.

How my interior looks right now. I still want to put another racing seat in and do more custom work.

UPDATE!
I decided to paint the side cover panels on the front bumper to match the lower grill. I think it look much better than when it was just solid silver.

Project: Extra Cylinder Head
When I have the money I want to get the head port/polished and shaved. Once I have that completed I would still have to park my car for a couple of days and have the technicians swap all the internals from my stock cylinder head and rebuild. I also would like to get a fuel controller and some dyno time then I'm sure I will see some real hp gains!

I ordered a new seat from Canadian tire for $260.00. I had to make a bracket for it but it was worth the work. The seat holds you in place so much better than the stock seat. You also can feel what the tires and frame of the car are going through.

NEW PICS! REV Competiton carbon fiber front lip.

Old style.

Painted front upper and lower grill, fog light covers and front bumber gaurds silver to match the wheels

I purchased the car with an AEM cold air intake, Eibach lowering springs and borla performance exhaust. I also added a block heater, air, and rear spoiler.

I removed the rear mud flaps to show off more rear tire. Not to mention the stupid things were starting to wreck the paint on the rear fender.
The car is about 2" lower than stock. AEM license plate frame on the front. I'm checking out some fog light options for the future.

My brand new set of 16"x7" RTX Alloy (with polished lip) wheels. Sticky Champiro GT street tires 195/50x16.
I purchased this 4 ply reinforced silicon radiator hose set from OBX on EBAY. It was made for the Scion XB but it works fine on the echo. When I installed the hoses I replaced the clamps with stainless steel clamps that you can loosen or tighten with a screw dirver.

I ordered the DC strut bar from Canadian Tire. I only waited three days for it to come in.
A stock Echo has about 108hp and 108Ib-ft of torque. Because of the upgraded air flow in and out of the car, mine has about 125 hp and 125 torque. Because of the power to wheight racio it's pretty fast. The DC strut bar makes the car handle so much better, going around sharp turns with speed no problem. When driving on the highway the front end takes the bumps much better.

AEM cold air intake with bypass valve. The intake is pretty long and the filter is in the corner of the fender. It's hard to see. New billet aluminum oil cap.

Borla axle back performance exhaust. I love the sound. It's kinda like a racing bike.
The Eibach lowering springs prevents body roll in corners and gives the car a more aggressive stance.

OMP rear upper strut brace. I got it from the UK on Ebay.

Lisence plate frame. Real chrome plated spikes! It looks really cool at night. Peep the shadow.

I found some seat covers to match the dash. I painted the speaker covers, gauge pod, head-unit faceplate, and door handles.

You can also see the carbon fiber hand brake cover and Reactive shift knob. The knob has a button on the top to control the led lights. The control for the red neon lights are mounted behind the shift boot.

Brand new RS Type short shifter. Comes with metal bushings and bolts right up. It's approx 1/2" shorter than stock and has 30-40% less throw. The nice thing about this shifter is that I don't have to mess with the stock one and it only cost me $60.00 after shipping from EBAY. Grease it up and bang it into gear!

I changed the head unit to a more powerful clarion mp3 player. Then I made a new face plate to match other parts of the interior. I changed the stock dash speaker(crap)to a new set of three way koss speaker.

These are F1 Syle racing pedals. I made custom chrome plated kick plates for the floor matts.
