Removing the KA...

Rusker's 1990 Nissan 240SX

The removal of the KA is pretty starightforward. The A/C System was also removed, but I'll hang onto it incase I decide to use it again one day.

On the left is the pile of parts I've collected while removing the KA. The majority of it will eventually end up in the dump. The pile of parts on the right is what I'm keeping from the SR, along with a few parts from the 240.

I hope I saved all the hardware..

After a few hours worth of work, the KA is pulled out. Pulling the motor out should have been alot easier, but I didn't have an extra set of hands, or a load leveler. With some struggle, the KA came out rather easy.

Now that the motor is out, the fun part beings... cleaning/prepping/repainting the engine bay for the SR20. As you can see, this will take some time to get done.

She still ran strong with 200k+ miles, but the KA will sit around until I figure out what to do with it.

Wow very nicely done. I beleave I saw your thread on the build up on NICO maybe? Anyway, check out my 240, not quite as far along as you are. Ran out of money early in the project, then got hurt.
