I finally got some time to take apart my engine to fix what I busted at race city.

I pulled out the cyl head,and took out all the hidraulic lifters.Here's what I found

The lifter for the intake valve for the 1st cyl was busted.The security clip flew off,and the floating plate fell to the bottom of the lifter,thereby letting the pushrod fallthroug everytime it was supposed to open the intake valve.Here's the pick of the part in question.The circled one is the messed up safety clip.All this for a stupid piece of wire!!!!!

I of course put all new lifters,push pins and rockers,gasket.While I was there I also put in the exaust header off a 2.2lengine.It's a bit sprintier now.It revs a bit quicker,and sounds a lot better.
