Ok, heres my truck. As you'll realize from the first paragraph, Ive just cut and pasted the info from my 2004 GTO page. Hopefully I will get a little time to make this something of its own, but for now, it gives me a chance to be viewed by the truck fans. Hope you enjoy. My Goat can be see at Cincy Goat
Heres the big reason that I dont have a supercharger for the Goat. This beast drank all my money! :) The truck is a 2004 4x4 GMC Sierra crew cab. It has the 8.1 litre or 496 CID engine with the Allison transmission. It doesnt do the best on fuel, but fortunately, you can pull your own gas station down the road behind you!
My parents and us enjoy camping. Two years ago, we both got our new campers. Ours is a 31' Layton and theirs a 33' Mountaineer with dual slide outs. No, you're not having vision problems, that's my 2002 Chevrolet in the pic. My dad called this passed June and told me he was buying a new truck. I thought it would be cool to have matching ones so I traded it in. His is just like my dual (hence matching I guess) but a sandstone color with the roll top bed cover. Im still looking for my pics of it. With kids, I bought the fiberglass shell so that they all had a place to sit when they bring friends.
You know, the more I think about it, maybe I could get a buy one, get one free deal on those superchargers! The truck could be wicked with a polished blower under the hood. I might not take the trophy for quickest down at the strip, but I wonder if they have something for "Most fuel spent in a 1/4"?
As you can see, Ive added a shell and window tint. Ive also put on some mud flaps, rain guards and a bug guard. Wheel Simulators were the latest purchase. I have had the 4" wheel to wheel Putco Boss Bars on order since the week before I got it. However, they came in wrong and Ive never heard if they got the issues straightened out. I will be getting something soon.
Although not much of a modification, it sure is the truest piece about the truck!! I wouldnt have it any other way. :)
