I have now sold the Cyborg :( and bought an Evo 6... SEE PAGE 5.
Welcome to my cardomain page. My car is a 1996 Mirage Cyborg ZR, approx 180 bhp so far.
I bought it in January this year and began modifying it straight away.
Here's the photo-build so far.......
These are pics i took the day i brought her home....
My first jobs were to fix the little things that hadn't been done, like loose door handles, rattles etc
Then i fitted a one-off rear wiper that i made for my previous colt.
Next was the indicators......
The orange filter had to go to give the car a cleaner look.
The next thing was to fit a sound system, none in the car when i bought it. Then i upgraded the steering wheel from a Lancer Evo 6 to replace the slightly worn original.
Less than a week later, i decided i was going to respray the car. I took the car to a friends bodyshop and i prepered the car for painting and he painted it.

Time to start stripping the car down....
Small dents are filled and primed....
The car is moved into the spray booth and masked up ready for its first coat of paint....
First a few coats of white basecoat....
Followed by its first coat of pearl white....
Then a few more coats and the paint is ready for laquering....
The un-masking begins....
Finally the parts are put back on the car....

I've still got loads to do before the show season begins.
The main things i want to do for now is....
Fit my 18" wheels and tint the windows so the car will look like this.....

Then i want to fit the rest of the i.c.e.
I've also got a complete spare interior which i'll be painting white and blue and retrimming the seats in white leather.
