Becuase my Dad has owned his own shop for 25+ years now, ever since I was a very little kid, cars have had a big influence on me. He has taught me more than he thinks, but my dad lives for his business, and his business only lives because of him. He is what you call a workaholic. Because of that, my mom divorced him about 12 years ago, which is perfectly understandable. But she has let me live out my car dreams, and has somewhat understood the few tickets I have been cited in thet last few years lol. My stepdad is also very into cars, mostly trucks, and he has his own weld shop. I build my derby cars there, and do alot of the work on my truck there as well. Working on your own shit gives a person such a much more understanding, but also respect for other peoples rides out there.

Mom: 2000 Ford Expedition-Eddie Bauer Edition-17'' wheels and the Ford Mach Sound Package.

2003 Ford Mustang-Pony Package: shaker style hood scoop, spoiler, 16'' chrome wheels, 5 speed, 6 disk cd changer, V6, but it still goes pretty good and the stick is fun to drive.

Step Dad: 1972 Ford F-250- Oregon Truck, 390 V8, Edlebroke intake, valve covers, and air cleaner top, Holley 750 double pump, full length Hooker Headers ceramic coated, dual exhaust with chrome tips, 35'' tires, I don't care for the baby blue but it looks alright.

The Bitchin' 1990 Chevy Corsia, Demo Car, June 2005, Took 4th after i was sprayed with my own antifreeze, hopped outta that pretty quick. Ran it again 3 weeks later, made it to the feature after winning the concy, but wasnt much left of the car. To give you an idea, the rear deck where the 6x9's would be, was about 8" away from my driver's seat, ouch!

2 winters ago after school I was driving home, and my one friends called me and said to stop at Walmart. Here is what we found. A 'Hoe that hit some ice, slid in the ditch. No clue why he had the 26's on during winter...

Thanks for taking the tie to check out my truck. The more reading I do, the more I think the ls1 is that way to go with my truck. I've read about guys trying to build a big power 383 stroker out of the vortec, and finding that they can't get enough fuel to it with the stock injection system. A lot of those guys ended up going to an ls1 becuase they said by the time you built the motor, getting an aftermarket EFI system made the whole buildup WAY too expensive, and in the end, they felt the ls1, while a ton of work to get it to cooperate, was actually the better choice. So thats what I've learned from the internet about it anyways. thanks again for checking out the truck, and good luck with yours!! looks good!!
