Mazda Accessory Pedal Covers (4/22/09)
I had some custom-made covers for two years now (they are down below) and they were looking very tired. I decided to help a fellow 3-er who couldn't use them and take them off his hands for a decent price. I like them a lot, although I've lost some of the ability to heel-toe. Other than that, they are clean, simple and really well-made.

DaBears2k Smoked LED Sidemarkers (03/02/09)
They had a free-shipping sale on these and decided, "What the hell?". I had a first set shipped to me that was the older design with adapters, but the one had it's wiring snapped at its soldering, so I returned them. I received these ones and they are MUCH better. Just plug and play. They look terrific too, much cleaner and more streamlined in my opinion.

DaBears2k Red Interior LED Lighting (03/02/09)
I got these as my Valentine's Day gift (Thanks babe!). The red LEDs match the red dash and seat fabric very nicely and look great at night. They also added LEDs for the glove compartment, trunk and rear license plate (white for legal purposes). Only compaint is the dome light is not very bright, but other than that, I love them.

Mazda3Mods Hood Dampners
I picked up these hood dampners because I got sick of the hood prop always being in my way. Plus I got too good of a deal on them to pass them up. Overall, they are very nice, but you have to be careful when you let the hood up or it will slam open. If you open it slowly, you won't have any long-term issues. For the fact that I don't have to use my hood prop anymore, they are totally worth it.

Independent Foglights/Sirius HU Rewire
A few 3 owners and I got together and did the Independent Foglight mod on our cars since you cannot have the foglights on separately from the headlamps.
It's a bit of labor intensive as the easiest way to access the wires you will need to use are hidden up behind the glove compartment. If you're interested in doing this, I can send you step-by-step instructions on how to do it.
Also, I redid the wiring for my Stratus4 by running all the necessary wires up through the dash and out the air vent. Makes it look so much better.

Sirius Stratus4 Head-unit
My girlfriend got me this for Christmas. I love it, as I cannot stand traditional FM radio. Install was pretty simple: connect HU to mounting bracket, clip to air vent and then run the antenna wiring from the HU to the rear. Looks are okay, with the wires are somewhat exposed, but once I get the radio connector for the stock radio, I'll run the wires through the airvent to hide all the wiring.

Mazda3Mods Upgraded Shifter Bushings
I picked up these bad boys as a way to sharpen up the somewhat sloppy shifting that the 3's are known for. For $22, you can't beat it. Shifts are a lot more precise and quicker as well. If you have a 3, it's a cheap way to make drivability much better.

Simota TwinCharger CAI
I decided (with the help of my girlfriend) to do some upgrading to the powerplant. After hearing some positive things about this intake, plus the fact that it was $100 compared to $200+, I took the plunge and picked it up. Took about two hours to complete.
So far, I am enjoying it very much. There is more power down low compared to the upper-end in other intakes. More importantly, it idles much smoother now as well as has a much more progressive throttle tip-in and a more linear throttle response. Just for the better drivability it well worth it.

I-Series Antenna
Picked up a stubby antenna because the stock one was ugly and 3 feet tall. The new one is 3.5 inches.

This is the stock antenna.

The circle represents how big the Stubby is compared to the stock antenna.
StreetGlow Purple Gold Series Underbody Neon Kit
Here are some less-than-stellar pictures of my car with the neons. I am running a full set of StreetGlow Gold Series Purple underbody neons. My friend did a lot of trick wiring, and put the switch in a concealed location, so I owe a lot to him for doing a great install. Thanks Brent.
Just for clarification, they are blue in the pictures, but they are dark purple in real life. I have to make another attempt to get them purple with a special setting on my camera. Will try to get better pictures up here soon.

Custom-made Pedal and Deadpedal Set
I finally put in my custom-made stainless steel pedal set and dead pedal, courtesy of Mazda3Forums.com member sok07. I made a mistake with the brake pedal (snapped a screw) so it's on there temporarily until next week when I get proper tools.
Other than that little oversight, everything went fine and I think they look great.

This is before, with the old aluminum dead pedal from last year.
