4/2/09: NEW SUSPENSION COMPONENTSThis all started back in December, 2008. After being patient with hunting and scouring the Internet for a year, I was able to find a set of lowering springs for the car for incredibly cheap. What I ended up picking up was a set of BRAND NEW Progress lowering springs. These lower the vehicle about 1.3" all the way around as well as having increased spring rates for flatter cornering. Then last month, I found a very good deal on some slightly used Mazdaspeed Accessory struts and shocks. These are the same ones sold by your dealer and are meant as a performance enchancer. They are usually paired with the Mazdaspeed Accessories springs (a.k.a. Eibach Pro-Kit), but since they are essentially the same lowering height and spring rate, there would be no issues. Finally, I picked up a pair of SPC Camber Links for the rear. As anyone knows, lowering your car increases camber. These camber links are adjustable, so they are able to be turned in and out to decrease camber angles and increase tire longevity.
