Before

This is the first picture of my '97 Z28 camaro when I bought it bone stock in October of 2002. I made sure to fix that boring old look and feel.

After (SS Conversion). It's a whole new car.

Video of my car and what it sounds like with Borla exhaust and Pacesetter Headers. 3 Revs up to 3,000 RPM, 3 Revs up to 5,000 RPM + Take off.

Top out at 160 when I was running HPPIII w/ supporting mods (hit speed limit)

**New Pics Coming Soon w/ T.B., SS OEM 97 SS Spoiler, Trickflow Ceramic Intake Elbow, Engine Dress Up, etc.**
Based on the poll and my personal choice, I decided to go ahead and order the SS Hood and Ram Air Intake from SLP (which is now no longer being made). I basically turned my car from a Z28 into an SS. It has everything OEM SS except for the rims which I think look better chromed out in the Z28 style anyways. I am in the process of getting the OEM SS SLP spoiler fitted and painted (they are also discontinued and are becoming more rare). I am also in the process of painting the brake calipers black, possibly updating the rotors (Baer), and suspension. Please check Page #9 for all the pre-paint SS Hood pics. Feel free to leave comments and sign my guestbook. Thanks! Also don't forget to rate my car! I've put a lot of work into this car to turn it from a bone stock z28 into an SS running a high 12 quarter mile. I'll post a time slip soon. And in case you are all wondering, I turned my car into an SS because I liked my car too much to sell it and "just buy" an SS.

I paid off the car after 4 years of payments in June of '06. I am pretty much leaning on buying a 6 speed corvette (a late 90's model) when I get out of graduate school, but I will still keep the camaro. Not sure if I really want to pump any more $$ into it. I definitely would have paid it off if quicker if I didn't spend all my money on mods! But what would be the fun in that? I live in Minnesota so I don't get to drive my car 8 months out of the year...which really sux. The other 4 months I'm usually cruising around with the T-Tops off and enjoying the summer. Throw on a pair of Oakleys, show off a little beach muscle, and rev the engine a bit. Throw a few burn outs in there too. That oughta do it.

Check out my mods!
