THIS IS MY TRUCK!!it was my grandfathers he put 8,000 miles on it and my dad put the other 400,000 miles on it and i am just fixing everything that went wrong with it. I have a close conection with this truck too because we are the same age.

last fall I decieded that the truck needed a more thurogh paint restoration and i decided to freshen up the paint. i started sanding and found large amounts of bondo so i had to fix it right... hammer, weilder, file, supper small amount of filler..and not the cheap crap. another thing that influenced me to paint it is a tree limb fell on the roof and crushed the bedside!

yea i know i painted it in the yard so my clear is soo crappy it was too humid
SO i drove it like this for 3 months then decided to mix it up... he he he FLAME IT
just pinstriped it NICE! i used pearl paints... i first taped up my front then painted the front metalic silver then i did pearl red, then pearl green, pearl blue, then i did the front of the truck the rest of the body color so you only see the blue around where i painted...then at night you see the other colors come through... its nice.. the camera doesent quite catch it tho.. i will do this for anyone who wants it done that is wanting a greatlooking flame job w/o the expensive price...we now have a shop.. ground breaking/scraping customs in aynor southcarolina.

man my paint wrinkeled up over where my heaterbox is and it looks crappy..
this spring i took off the bed and i paint sripped the bedsides and i am repainting it from the etch primer up all gloss budwizer red single stage so look forward to it.. starting at the back and since it is such a high gloss and no metalic it will show every dent and stuff so ill c how it looks.. HOPEFULLLY LIKE A MIRROR

i started by removing the side trim and fixing the bedsides from any slight warpage or w/e i sanded down the sides and primered flat black 1k.
this is where i shaved the cab line on the truck

now that the cheap color is down i wet sanded down for the real paint.. this 2 color method is great and saves alot of money..
the finished product.. almost still have to color sand and buff to a mirror
